Ranges

Free option
We can go to a local public indoor range (Wake County Firearms Education & Training Center). It’s a great option for a beginner shooter, and the range fee is $0. However, there are limitations: no shooting on the move and no rapid fire.
This range is open Fri and Mon from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sat and Sun all day.

Advanced option
For more advanced training, we go to an outdoor range where we can set up our own training area and practice more advanced elements of personal defense: shooting on the move, reloading on the move, and rapid fire. You can stay there as long as needed. It’s much more engaging. The range fee is $40 per person (for the whole day), in addition to the cost of the lesson.
This range is open every day.

Your option
We can also go to a range of your choice—in that case, you will need to cover the entry fee for both yourself and the instructor.
